Life Science Professionals

BioAdvance is committed to developing and sponsoring programs that help life sciences professionals in the Greater Philadelphia region and that are focused on strengthening interactions within the business and academic community.

One such program that BioAdvane and other regional leaders sponsored is Career GPS, which was held in November 2009. Career GPS was developed to introduce displaced life science professionals from the the Greater Philadelphia region to the concept of entrepreneurship. The inaugural program was held at the Wharton Scool, University of Pennsylvania and has sinve been replicated regionally to assist hundreds of additional professionals. The program's panel discussed skill transferability and was recorded for pod-casting. The panel's introductory comments, panel introductions and panel discussions will be posted.

BioAdvance, the University City Science Center and Wharton Small Business Development Center along with We Work for Health are sponsored a program for emerging regional entrepreneurs called Entrepreneur On Ramp in May 2010.
